Honed Tubing

Commercial Fluid Power specializes in honed tubing.  We are a tubing and bar distributor with (OD) outside diameter and (ID) inside diameter processing capabilities. Our honed tubes are used in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder applications, shock bodies, accumulators, motor housing, pump barrel or any application that requires a precision machined tube.

CPOD, Nitro-tuff, Chrome Bar

Tubing is available in a suitable to hone condition, honed, skived and roller burnished, Chrome Plated OD (CPOD) or in a Nitro-tuff condition. Nitro-tuff tubes are a Green replacement for Chrome Plated ID or OD tube and bar products.

Bar stock chrome plated, induction hardened and Nitro-tuff bars.  Nitro-tuff bars are a green, environmentally friendly cylinder rod with excellent corrosion resistance.

• Skiving and Roller Burnish from 1.500" through 12.000"
• Gundrilling and Deep Hole Drilling up to 192" length
• Trepanning up t0 32" Rounds and 20" Squares x 20 feet
• Boring up to 60" ID's x 12' & 20" ID's to 386"
• Turning up to 60" OD's x 5', 28"OD x 30', 16" OD x 50'
• Grinding up to 12"OD x 60 feet

Chrome Plated Bar Stock

Commercial Fluid Power carries a wide variety of chrome plated and nitrided bar for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder applications.

 

The most common grade is C1045/1050 available in a Chrome Plated (CP) condition or Induction Hardened and Chromed (IHC).

Sizes are available in both Imperial and Metric. Call your nearest location for specific size requirements.
